Students of “Migdal Ohr” united this morning with the memory of the six million who perished in the Holocaust. In moving ceremonies, they commemorated Holocaust and Heroism Day and honored the memory of the victims and the heroism of the survivors.
The future generation must know, recognize and understand the history of the Jewish people so that it can one day continue that legacy towards a better future. Only in this way can we ensure that something like this will never happen again.
For more than fifty years, Israel Prize Recipient Rabbi Yitzchak David Grossman has worked on behalf of children at-risk and disadvantaged populations in Israeli society. Over the years, he established many charitable organizations and educational institutions to provide an opportunity to those who feel despair and experience difficulties, in order to help them leave the circle of distress and successfully integrate into Israeli society. His many years of activity are his life’s work of giving back and acts of kindness, which have made an extraordinary impact on Israeli society and the State of Israel.
