The pupils of the Machshava School take part in the school orchestra. The music program at the school offers the pupils the opportunity to play a variety of musical instruments, as a tool to foster mutual respect, teamwork, responsibility, participation, tolerance and increasing self-confidence. In these difficult days for us all, music is simply the perfect escape for them.
For more than fifty years, Israel Prize Recipient Rabbi Yitzchak David Grossman has worked on behalf of children at-risk and disadvantaged populations in Israeli society. Over the years, he established many charitable organizations and educational institutions to provide an opportunity to those who feel despair and experience difficulties, in order to help them leave the circle of distress and successfully integrate into Israeli society. His many years of activity are his life’s work of giving back and acts of kindness, which have made an extraordinary impact on Israeli society and the State of Israel.
